The Music
Unlike most other zombie films you’ve ever seen, CUPCAKE is a musical of epic proportions.
Agnes and Mauva kick off the singing with a little ballad entitled Zombies and Lesbians. Fair enough, I guess, coz that’s what the film is about.
Then we meet Billy and Dayna who express their undying love for each other in the beautiful, schmaltzy love song No Penis Between Us.
Things heat up between Billy and Dayna, although perhaps not in the way Billy had expected. She bursts into song (what else would you do?) with My Girlfriend Ate My Pussy.
Any decent musical must have at least one showy song and dance number. It’s the
turn of the zombies to stand tall (well, hunch tall really) and wow us with Zombie
Pride, a grunt and shuffle show-
